WEEKEND AT DEER PARK
SATURDAY SEPT 13:
BOARD MEETING ... 11 AM
POTLUCK LUNCHEON ... 1PM
Deer Park will be a
great place to celebrate the end of summer. Join us for the
whole weekend or just for Saturday when we will have a Pot Luck
Luncheon following the Board Meeting. The grassy area has been
reserved for our Luncheon at 1PM. Bring sandwiches, salads, side
dishes, desserts to share. The Club requests a $2.00 donation
for the sodas and paper goods that the Club will provide.
For
weekend reservations, RV or Tent sites or Cabins contact Deer
Park at 888-993-6833. Cabin Fees have been reduced to $100.00
for two nights or $65.00 for one night. There is one RV rental
available at $40.00 per night. Reduced gate fees of $10.00 will
apply.
Saturday night there will be a POW*MIA
Dinner and
Candlelight ceremony as well as a balloon release. Also a
writer/photographer from Naturist Magazine will be on site doing
a write up on the resort for their magazine. |

SATURDAY SEPT 27:
TORRANCE
OKTOBERFEST - ALPINE VILLAGE
U
are invited
to celebrate the Oktoberfest at Alpine Village starting with a
dinner at the Alpine Inn on Saturday Sept. 27 at 4 pm. Dinner
prices start at $9.95 (most are $14 to $16 range). We will
meet in front of the Inn at 3:45.
After the Knife and Fork browse the
Village which features over 20 specialty
stores, including a
German butcher and deli, a European style bakery, a fantastic
gourmet supermarket specializing in European foods and liquor,
gift shops and more. At
6 pm the Beer Tent opens which accommodates up to 3000 people
and includes a Bavarian Brass Oom Pa Pah band from Germany,
German dancers and contests, like yodeling, wood sawing , beer
stein holding and the famous Chicken Dance. Normal admission is
$5, but we will try to get a 50% discount. |

The
board meeting will start at 3pm sharp, followed by a Knife &
Fork at Centro
Basque, 13432 Central Ave, Chino. This is a special dining
experience
at the best Basque restaurant in our area.
Family-style meals are served communal style on long tables.
Dinner is served in six courses. The food is abundant and
delectable, and served with flair. Dinner prices start at
$14.95. |

Don’t be missed at this year’s
Monster Bash.
The party begins at 5pm, with the potluck at 6pm. After dinner
we'll have a Costume Parade with prizes for best costumes.
Bring a towel for the hot tub and an ample dish to share. Sodas

MEETING & GMM NOON & 2PM
Join your fellow members at the
General Membership Meeting and Annual Election of Officers
starting at 2PM, followed by a Pot Luck Dinner at 5PM. Bring
your favorite dish to share. Beverages will be provided. Time
permitting; we will play Bingo before dinner. Bring towels for
the Spa. The Club needs your support for this important meeting,
a time to assist in the planning and share your ideas for the
future. |

TREE TRIMMING & POT LUCK PARTY 2PM
Get in the Holiday Spirit with
the trimming of the tree for our Annual Christmas
Party. Hundreds of decorations to browse through. Hostess will
prepare Turkey Tetrazzini as a main dish for the Pot Luck. Bring
a dish to complement the dinner. Beverages provided. We will
have fun, holiday music, friends and spirit. Hot spa available.
